If you are entitled to register for free school meals please do so, even if your child has a packed lunch, as school receives extra funding through the Pupil Premium. Please note, it is your responsibility to renew your child’s entitlement as needed.

School Lunches at Anston Brook

Lunch Orders

We offer online main meal pre-order service at Anston Brook through Dolce Schools Catering . Dishes are cooked to order. Children can either have a school dinner or bring their own packed lunch to school.

Universal Infant Free School Meals are available for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Orders can be placed online from home or on the move via our online app. You can order up to 9.30 am on any given day or as far in advance as whole term. Orders can be placed on a PC, laptop, tablet or a smartphone.

We encourage all parents to order with their children and not for their children.

Pre - order in the classroom

Children can also order their lunch choices via the touchscreen smart board in their classroom. 

 

Parents Please Note: any orders placed from home are final and cannot be changed in the classroom.

Packed Lunches

The children are allowed to opt for a packed lunch but we ask parents to ensure that it is a healthy one. Please avoid chocolate bars, biscuits or snacks such as crisps and fizzy drinks. For more information regarding healthy meals for children please visit www.schoolfoodplan.com

Free School Meals

Free school meals are available to some children according to family income.

To find out if your child qualifies visit Dolce Website or call the school office for an application form.

School Snacks

At present, all EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils are given a piece of fruit at morning break.

Sweets, large grab bags of crisps and chewing gum or bubble gum is strictly forbidden.
